Account Deletion

DaBid users can request account deletion directly in the app.

Delete Your Account In App

1. Open DaBid and sign in.
2. Go to My.
3. Open Privacy Requests & Account.
4. Choose Delete account.
5. Confirm the action when prompted by the app.

What Is Deleted Or Hidden

Account deletion deletes the DaBid sign-in account, signs the user out locally, anonymizes the public profile as Deleted user, hides leaderboard and follow surfaces, removes active or under-review listings from public marketplace surfaces, removes owned listing photos, and clears follow/block relationships involving the account.

Marketplace State

Pending bids, free pickup requests, and open transactions involving the deleted account are closed or cancelled where practical. Completed or problem-history records may be retained without keeping the deleted profile public or active.

What May Be Retained

DaBid may retain limited records when needed for safety, fraud prevention, moderation, legal compliance, audits, dispute history, abuse prevention, or enforcement of marketplace rules. Retained records are not intended to remain public marketplace surfaces.
