Account Deletion

DaBid users can request deletion directly in the app.

Delete your account in app

1. Open DaBid and sign in.
2. Go to My.
3. Open Privacy Requests & Account.
4. Choose Delete account.
5. Confirm the action when prompted.

Active giveaway and pickup state

Deletion closes or archives active listings, claims, bids, and unresolved pickups involving the account where applicable. Active Bid Ticket holds are released, and committed tickets are restored when the recorded cancellation or failure state requires restoration. Deletion does not convert, redeem, transfer, or cash out Bid Tickets.

What is deleted or hidden

DaBid deletes the sign-in account, signs the user out locally, anonymizes the public profile, removes active or under-review listings from public surfaces, removes owned listing photos, disables public contribution recognition, and clears follow and block relationships where applicable.

What may be retained

Limited pickup, Bid Ticket ledger, report, moderation, reliability, safety, legal, audit, or abuse-prevention records may be retained when reasonably needed. Completed and legacy giveaway history may also be retained in anonymized or access-limited form. Retained records do not keep the deleted profile public or active.
